Oil Painting: Beginners Mindset
Join us for a three-week painting series! This program is designed to teach you the basics & beyond - from setting up your palette and cleaning your brushes, to mixing up your paint and creating a masterpiece. We will explore the multi-step process of painting together over the course of this three-week program.
Week 1: Learn how to set up your palette and create an underpainting.
Week 2: Color! Explore how to mix values and colors with your palette.
Week 3: Finish your masterpiece. Instruction on how to wire hang your final painting.

The topographic map of Peak 10 is woodburned to create the line work in the background. The wood is then sanded and stained, followed by the Oil Paint. The piece is then finished with an Epoxy Glaze.
