Oil Painting: Beginners Mindset
Join us for a three-week painting series! This program is designed to teach you the basics & beyond - from setting up your palette and cleaning your brushes, to mixing up your paint and creating a masterpiece. We will explore the multi-step process of painting together over the course of this three-week program.
Week 1: Learn how to set up your palette and create an underpainting.
Week 2: Color! Explore how to mix values and colors with your palette.
Week 3: Finish your masterpiece. Instruction on how to wire hang your final painting.

The topographic map of Peak 9 is woodburned to create the line work in the background. The wood is then sanded and stained, followed by the Oil Paint. The piece is then finished with an Epoxy Glaze.
